The inception of its retail operations in the South Pacific has allowed Conwood to service the fast-paced development of Guam and the Mariana Island communities for more than 30 years. In 1993, Conwood established a building materials store in Maite, Guam with 45,000 square feet of warehouse space to better meet local customer needs and expedite the delivery of goods.
Nine years later, Conwood Products moved its Guam operation to a 3.2 acre location to become one of the largest lumber yards on the island.
Conwood Products has differentiated itself from traditional hardware stores by limiting its product line to include only wood products and wood-related materials. By sustaining this focus, customers have enjoyed the economies of scale and wisdom that Conwood promises to its clients.
Aside from outfitting local contractors and builders in the Guam community and nearby islands, Conwood has supplied building materials form the construction of the Hyatt Regency and the Nikko Hotel, as well as the new Guam International Airport, LeoPalace Resorts, and many more.
